The Custom Cart Process

We have 100’s of carts in our shop that are ready to be built exactly how you want at no upcharge. We help walk you through the process of choosing every aspect of the cart from the ground up.

You will have preference in every detail from the choice of the seating arrangement, wheels and tires, all the way down to the accent colors of your seats. All of our custom carts are built off of the popular Navitas chassis and drivetrain.

This cart gives you performance and technology that is unmatched in the golf cart industry. Just a few of the options that are standard on every custom build: Street legal light kit, extended top covering the rear seat, premium executive style seats, premium wheel/tire combinations, etc.

There are no upcharges for any of these features, they are all included. The options are limitless with the custom build option and we at Kart King are here to help you every step of the way.

Step 1: Chassis

The first and most important part of this process. We have an abundance of options on carts for you to choose from. We have 2 seaters, 4 seaters, 6 seaters, we even offer an 8 seater build. These chassis come in an array of layouts as well, including lifted, non-lifted, 4 wheel drive, etc. All equipped with the industry leading Navitas drive train “under the hood”.

Step 2: Color

The step that really sets the tone for the rest of your build is the color choice of the cart itself. This is a very important step as it helps us identify the direction we want to go moving forward in this process. We offer a selection of 8-10 stock colors as well as an option to upgrade to any custom color the customer chooses.

Step 3: Seats & Wheels/Tires

This is where it gets fun. We will help guide you through all of your options in terms of seat colors and patterns as well as the many options on wheels and tires. Many people ask us if we have a “catalog” to look through when it comes to this part. The simplest answer is the options are unlimited here, so there would be no way to fit it all in one place! This is where we step in and help guide you to narrow down the options that may help the look and feel of your cart best suite what you are looking for.

Step 4: Upgrades and 'Everything Else'

Every cart and customer have their own unique wants and needs for their carts purpose and usage. This part of the build can include common things such as adding an audio system or seat belts. It can also be a time for us to nail down specifics you know that you will need on the cart such as golf bag attachments or brush guard added. Once we’ve completed this process, we are ready to get your cart in a bay and moving!
